DeltaMed and Straumann agree on close cooperation in 3D printing business

Partnership with future: DeltaMed and Straumann have recently signed an agreement covering the development and supply of 3D resins for various dental applications.

The partnership includes the development and supply of 3D resins for Straumann's P pro line as well as the development of new materials and applications. The current range consists of various materials for dental models, casting applications, individual trays, try-in, surgical guides and temporary crown and bridge materials. All resins are compatible with Straumann P-Series printers.
The Straumann Group is a leading global listed company for dental prosthetics and orthodontic solutions, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. Its products, solutions and services are available in more than 100 countries through a broad network of distribution subsidiaries and partners.
For more than 20 years DeltaMed develops and manufactures outstanding products for many different technical and medical applications. As a competent partner for trade and industry, DeltaMed creates solutions precisely tailored to customer’s needs. Since the beginning of DeltaMed's history the company has focused its expertise on the development of light-curing materials for restorative dentistry and dental technology. In addition to conventional dental materials, the potential of additive manufacturing has been recognized at an early stage. This led to the development of the first printable material for the production of hearing aid shells as early as 2002.
Today, DeltaMed’s 3D poduct range consists of unique materials such as highly esthetic temporary crown and bridge materials, surgical guides and outstanding model materials. The successful path is continued by upcoming next generation materials, such as permanent restorations, denture bases or model resins with optimized surface structures.
